Postage is automatically calculated as you shop!!! Just look in your shopping cart in the top right. We do offer postage guides below. Please be aware these may differ slightly to what you may pay.



Free Postage Offer

The conditions for free postage offer are as follows: $151 spend must be within the same transaction. There may be a SURCHARGE for Minky fabrics or Books. Free postage is for regular postage only but discounts offered for registered and express options. This offer is available as a trial only & may be withdrawn at any point (so take advantage now!). AUSTRALIA ONLY!!

 

Times

We endeavour to send all orders within 3 days of payment being received; you will be notified if it should take any longer than this. Our allocated mailing days are Monday, Wednesday & Friday so please keep this in mind when placing your order & estimating postage times. Please be aware that bank deposit payments often take a few days to show up in our account so the 3 days handling time may not necessarily begin from the day you made payment, it will start from the day the payment shows in my account (please estimate 5 days handling time in this instance but often this is an over estimate). PayPal echeques & other similar style payments that often take up to 5 days to clear in our PayPal account often lengthen delivery times. Items that are ordered on a preorder basis have a completely different time frame. We always endeavour to get your order in the post & into your hands ASAP so you can start creating sooner!

 

Please be aware that we will not be held liable for postage times as once your package is out of our hands we don't have any control over it.

 

Agents

We primarily use Australia Post to deliver your orders to you. In our experience they have proven over the past year to be mostly reliable and inexpensive for smaller orders. We may also use a Courier to deliver larger orders. We will choose how your order shall be sent based on the postage type you have chosen, the overall weight & size of your order once packaged & your location. 

 

Costs

Small orders are often sent in an envelope while larger orders are sent in prepaid satchels. You may also find that we have included a small handling charge in our rates, to cover packaging materials etc. As a guide our postage costs are as follows:

We have tried to make our postage rates as cheap as possible and sometimes below the actual postage cost but if once your order has been packaged up, weighed & measured your postage is actually less than what you have been charged unfortunately we are not able to offer a refund for postage. As we have limited packing time we don't always pay attention to how much postage has been paid & how much postage has actually cost, if we did packing would take a lot longer. We don't intentionally try to charge extra for postage but sometimes with different fabric weights, thickness, & different items being included parcels can vary & as my website estimates shipping based on order value sometimes there can be variances. Most of the time it will only be out by a dollar or two and rest assured if you postage actually costs more than you paid we will never ask you to pay more (unless you add more to your order or request an additional service like registered or express & you hadn't paid for it in the first instance). It is in our terms that you are in agreement with the postage charged when you place the order.

 

Postage Options 

Registered and Express Postage are offered as an option when checking out so you can decide how much you wish to pay for postage. Please choose Registered Post if you want your package to be insured against loss in the post. I like to offer regular postage as it's a cheaper rate for you but please be aware that I will not be held liable for packages sent regular post that go missing in the post nor will I be held liable for the length of time it takes for the third party (Australia Post or courier company) to deliver your order to you. In saying all of the above I will be more than willing to lodge an incident with Australia Post & do whatever I can to track your parcel should the unthinkable happen no matter what sort of postage you have chosen.

 

When choosing Express Postage unfortunately overnight delivery cannot be guaranteed! Whilst we will endeavour to get your order in the post ASAP we don't work everyday (as we are a small home run business) and it is up to you to check if you are within an express zone.
